Making a small space feel huge
Today we ’re off to the UK to visit with Fabrice .
Hello , my name is Fabrice . I am Gallic and live in the UK . I pretend in France for a long a very long clip , but due to health problems I have had to stop . I ’m mad about garden and ca n’t live without it .
A variety ofshade - loving plantsin container creates a wizardly garden blank space . The colouring of the containers blend in into the background of the rampart and paving . Shorter containers are in the front , while taller I in the back nip and tuck the garden up to run into vines develop on the wall and even containers mounted on the wall itself , creating a dynamical garden in a small space .

Never think trees and bush are the only direction to get height in the garden ! A improbable container overflowing with plants dominates in the foreground , tantalization view of more of the garden beyond .
This garden feels more like a tropic jungle than the UK , withvinesgrowing everywhere to hatch every airfoil with green .
There are virtually no flower in this garden . or else , carefully chosen plants , vines , and lop shrub fulfill it with a million shades of gullible andtexturesof leafage .

I have it off seeing the intimately sheered topiary scattered throughout this garden . Normally I see those shapes of bush in strictly formal gardens , but here they ’re tucked into , and allow a wonderful direct contrast with , the succulent hobo camp - like growth .
What a magical place to sit and enjoy this garden !
Fernsandhostasare marvelous comrade , thriving in the same conditions , and their very different textured leaves perfectly complement each other .

What an inspiring garden ! The space is clearly very little , but careful planting that makes great enjoyment of vertical space helps it feel Brobdingnagian and complex .
