' Snow Cap ' liberal - foliage sedgeCarex siderosticha’Snow Cap '
Zones:5 to 9Conditions : Part to full nicety ; average soilSize:6 to 8 inch magniloquent ; 12 to 15 inch wide
What is new?Imagine this as the reverse of ' Variegata ' broad - leaved sedge . That cultivar has a wide dark-green leaf with a thin white stripe . But ' Snow Cap ' has a broad , creamy lily-white leaf with a thin green bar .

What does someone who has grown it say?Though it has very little immature in its leaf , ' Snow Cap ' is just as vigorous – and as cervid - tolerant as other broad - leaved sedge . Also like it ’s cousin-german , it can await a little ratty at the end of the season , but this is n’t the plant ’s fault : poke will eventually take their toll with any member ofC. siderosticha .
