Until recently , orchidaceous plant still rolled off the conveyor belt , but when Concorde Plants in Honselersdijk made the switch to spathiphyllum , that was incisively one of the point where the internal logistics needed an update . The erstwhile WPS system needed to be update , or rather , replaced . A job for the cat from Opti Systems , who are presently putting the end touches to it .

We spoke to Wojciech Grabowski on - site and Rick van der Tang over the phone , both owners of this still comparatively new actor in the market ( we spoke to them about it before ; seehere ) . Initially , the agriculturist hop to keep with the existing system , but because it would take so much care , it was finally decide to go for an entirely unexampled delivery system .

Now , all handling run over Opti Systems ' internal transport organization . When the plants are ready to be delivered , a golem put them on the belt towards the buffer . They then sink through a picture booth - a piece of technology realized in collaboration with Marcel de Visser of DV Automation - and are assessed for outside characteristics . Using smart software , legion gradings can be made , with ( as is wonted in spathiphyllum ) the bit of flower being the main distinguishing class . Next , the plants enter the fender , which has 30 belt .

Plenty of spaceWojciech : " The buffer now accommodates 1380 plant , and with the current system , 40,000 plant can be shipped per week . At least , that was the client ’s requirement , but we have far exceeded it . Where they think they would need five long solar day , they now work 10,000 on a normal workings day and are commonly finished by Friday good afternoon . "
ChallengesFor Opti Systems , it was the first metre that camera engineering had been integrated into their own system . Moreover , HT Verboom had to slimly convert the container scheme to check that the delivery of the plants from the tables onto Opti Systems ' conveyor bang went smoothly . Also , installing the new system and carry on the work in the nursery where 40.000 plants oer wee jare position , was a challenge . lastly , the plants have to be spaced once during cultivation . At that power point , the plants are brought to the front , placed on a belt by a robot , and then again valuate by a camera organization . Two level are made here , after which an employee also absent any ( prematurely emerge ) flowers . The industrial plant are then placed back on benches by the robot and deliver to the greenhouse . Rick and Wojciech also realized this part of the inner conveyance of the plants in collaborationism with DV Automation .
