Incredible views await visitors to this garden

Today Jordan Buckner is partake photos of a beautiful garden he had the chance to visit recently .

I recently visited Ohme Gardens in Wenatchee , Washington . I live 90 miles north of Wenatchee and was fortunate to be there yesterday when the pussyfoot phlox and bugle were blooming .

Ohme Gardens roost on the edge of a bluff with views of the Cascade Mountains . Just about every inch of ground is covered with creeping Jenny(Lysimachia nummularia , Zones 3–9 ) , creeping phlox(Phlox subulata , Zones 3–9 ) , bugleweed(Ajuga repens , Zones 3–10 ) , yarrow(Achilleasp . ) , and various shrubs .

Wow ! It ’s not hard to make a beautiful garden with view like that .

The garden here is simple . There ’s nothing to take away from or overwhelm the natural beauty of the site , and the landscape is emphasize with unfolding ground covers everywhere .

Would n’t you love to have some huge , beautiful rocks like these in your garden ? They are set off dead by bright splashing of creep phlox in full bloom .

A select few industrial plant have weave their way into the crack cocaine and crack of the stone , showing off the beauty of the rock and put up a wonderful contrast between the unvoiced asceticism of the rock and the delicate grace of the flowers .

Just beyond the brilliant tumble of boulder , tall conifer rising up at the top accent the natural height of the landscape painting .

A dark rampart of conifer allows hints of the mountains beyond to peak through . I think it is safe to say that most of us wo n’t be lucky enough to make a garden in a infinite like this , but it sure is awing to visit it though these beautiful pictures !
