Having moved to a foreign country , then doing the work to move back to my dear Florida , I have fall to some realizations about stuff .

It does n’t matter . It just does n’t . You screw this in the synopsis , of course . At least those of us with a modicum of common sentience do , but it ’s still surd to allow go sometimes . Especially when you ’ve poured yourself into something , like a home , a homemade bench , a favorite guitar or a food forest .
let go of a food wood is in particular painful for a gardener . But you ca n’t really keep it anyhow .
Our consistence age , and eventually we die . The only affair that goes with us is our individual and the soul of those we love , furnish they have been chosen to adoption by God through the bloodline of His Son Jesus Christ .
If you ’re a neat - up materialist , believe this world is all there is , then you do n’t even believe you get to take your soul with you . But you will , you ’ll just be in a very bad seat with it .
One of the grand things about having children as a Christian , and determine them be baptized and think in the saving work of Jesus Christ is that they will go with you . They will be with you here on earth as you make decisions about what things to move and what things to get out behind , and in the terminal they ’ll be with you in timelessness , along with your believing ancestors and posterity . That ’s literal wealthiness ! What a great reason to have a big house !
On Wednesday I ship five barrel of my earthly possession back to Florida . family line film , ledger , tools , quilts , clothing , that sort of thing . A lot more was leave behind , give away or sold , but the best things mostly are go with us back home , with the exclusion of a few thing including my Taylor guitar , which I sold because it was too grueling to take . I also had to leave my Meadow Creature broadfork , my Moon still , my tablesaw …
… it was a punishing bit of categorisation , that is for sure . But hey – you ca n’t take them with you ultimately , so with that in mind it is easier to get free of them here .
move fast is hard with a sight of stuff . We have a big family , so there was a lot of stuff . The tyke and Rachel had to make hard decisions as well , letting go and gift off and trade thing like appliances and wheel , plant and toys , wearing apparel and books .
But we ’re together . And we will be for eternity . And that ’s a tremendous puff .
It ’s existent wealth , not material wealth .
