Favorite photos of favorite plants

My name is Carolyn Berube , and I dwell in Westport , Massachusetts , near the sea . When the wind is out of the north I ’m in Zone 6b , and when the wind is out of the due south I ’m in Zone 7 . I ’ve been gardening on this property for 19 years , produce mostly perennial and shrub . I take C of picture of my plants as if they were my Kyd — which they kind of are !

An previous kind of bewhiskered iris I ’ve been carrying around , withNepeta‘Walker ’s Low ’ ( Zones 4–9 ) in back .

This sanguisorba(Sanguisorba officinalis , Zones 4–8 ) blooms in other summer . The goldfinches get laid the seeded player !

Peony ‘ Cream Puff ’ and oxeye daisies(Leucanthemumvulgare , Zones 3–9 ) .

Siberian iris‘Caesar ’s Brother’(Iris siberica‘Caesar ’s Brother ’ Zones 3–8 )

Nobody but me seems to make love chives(Alliumschoenoprasum , Zones 4–8 ) for their physique in the late spring . This is a pinkish variety call ‘ Foresgate ’ .
