A garden transformation in just a few years

Hello ! My name is Renee and I survive in Memphis , Tennessee . I require to share my back garden in four seasons as well as “ before ” picture . I started working on this country of my garden in early 2020 ; the “ before ” pictures are from February 2020 . Every bit of this I did myself .

When I started I had five maturetreesand an otherwise uninfected slate to work with . My garden is roughly five time longer than it is wide , so I decided to create a curved Mary Jane path going around the far turning point . I started with adding evergreens for structure and a few decorative tree forfocal points . I build up around the two exist mature pinkdogwood trees(Cornus florida , Zones 5–9 ) for really highlight them , because they ’re beautiful in every time of year . Since then I ’ve tally bed of shrubs and perennial establish on variation of height , texture , and color . I ’ve also tried to supply interest group for every season . I wish to use repetition of vividness and texture in my garden to draw the eye down the path . Blueis easily my favorite color , so I use it often throughout my garden to addcontrastand sake . In several areas I ’ve used bay window to site plants that will eventually need to be moved to make room for the shrubs and trees as they mature .

It ’s hard to think it ’s only been three grow time of year since I come out this transmutation . I ’m mad to watch my garden produce and mature through the years .
