SixOnSaturday
Well well , come Monday it will be meteorological spring up here in the Northern Hemisphere . There are those that will argue that it does n’t get going till the vernal equinox on 20th March . But I say pah , countenance ’s have it ASAP . While you are reading this I will be out in the chilly winter sunshine , trudge my way through 40 km of the fine trails that Berkshire and Oxfordshire have to extend . In the meantime you may get on with Six on Saturday . Six things , in the garden , on a Saturday . Could be anything , you determine . Join in !
Here are my Six for this hebdomad .

1 – Crocus , not diffident . Over the last few years I have imbed several hundred crocus bulbs . I should engraft several hundred more . They have principally been closed up this calendar week but the sun is to the full out and so they have come out to toy .
2 – Snowdrops , scores of ’em . Last calendar week I bemoaned my very sparce collection of one or two very ordinary wood anemone . That is clearly a berth that the Six on Saturday Massive establish insufferable . in the beginning this week I take in not one but two parcel containing clunk of snowdrops . For now I have potted them up in their clumps to bide their meter until I get around to planting them out . Based on late evidence , that could be a while ! Thanks so much toNoelleandHortus Baileyanafor taking pity on me , much appreciate !
3 – Hardy Plant Society seeds . My slightly disappointing haul from the HPS this year . I overlook the opening of the scheme so will have been down the pecking order when the guild were pick . It is also later to go far than usual , no doubt a side effect of hear to manage this complex operation under Covid - untroubled conditions . Still , I usually have path too many works to grow , so this is all for my own good . I presuppose …

4 – Narcissus ‘ Téte - a - téte ’ . I corrupt a load more of these last year , but this lot is a atavism to a prior year ’s planting . They are rather fairly , and as the name advise , come in duet , so more flowers . The first few are out , plenty more where they come from .
5 – Camelia ‘ Nuccio ’s Pearl ’ . This is the most undefendable of the bud on this young shrub . Exciting .
6 – No idea . Since train this photo in the beginning today , I ’ve forgotten which works this is . I think it is a persicaria , either ‘ red dragon ’ or ‘ purple dragon ’ or possibly even a begonia , although I do n’t cerebrate so . Anyway , the breaker point is that new growth is emerging . Hurrah .

Have a lovely weekend in the garden , do n’t forget to bolt down back afterwards as more link get append during the solar day .
I ’ll be back next weekend for another # SixOnSaturday .
